Description:Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare project quality plan
- Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting
- Oversee per-con meeting to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field
- Manage progress claim, reports, ensure resources and assure materials
- Assure suitability of procedures, methods, systems & instruments
- Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement
- Manage all jobs closeout procedures
- Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns
- Handle major issues of works
- Maintain relationship with all parties related in field activities
- Monitor cost, QA/QC, safety/security, health/environment and loss prevention
- Source, negotiate and procure materials (installation)and equipment from the vendors, if require
- Planning and management of project-including developing job schedule, identify and mobilize resources
- Ensure claiming for variations or additional works are being carried out
- Plan and manage daily site/project activities
- Draft and execute project schedule that is developed based on Master schedule’s requirement
- Coordinate with main contractor one the location of site office, site store and erection area
- Ensure that the site staffs comply with the relevant rules and regulation at site, including wearing of personal proactive equipment(PPE)
- Liaise with client to solve project issues
- To liaise with consultant, Owner or Contractors in all matters related to the projects
- Ensure that current version of the specifications-e.g. Code of Practice; Singapore standards are accessible at the point of use
- In consultation with the appropriate manager, recruit, interview and select staff and /or volunteers with appropriate skills for the project activities
- Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis(monthly/bimonthly)
- Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date
- Prepare and forward monthly report to Project Management on the following:
Work & progress claim
Material usage status
Work activities program
Project issues
- Ensure that the project deliverable are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical
- Senior Level Electrical Engineer With 8-10 years of electrical engineering work experience
- Minimum 5 Years successful electrical PM experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to deal tactfully and efficiently at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills
- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in the use of computers for:
Word processing/Simple accounting/Data base management/Spreadsheets/E-mail/Internet
